RESPECT at GMS

The month of September found GMS students and staff focused on RESPECT - treating others as we want to be treated. As part of the monthly awareness activities, students who showed
"respectful character" were selected for recognition and rewarded with a treat from Dairy Queen.
Students in all buildings in the district participate in various activities throughout the school year pertaining to Character Education, such as respect, responsibility, citizenship, caring, etc. The Character Education program has been incorporated into each school's curriculum as part of their
School Improvement Plan. The purpose of the program is to help our students to become good role models and better citizens in the future.
