Basketball Homecoming at GHS
King Dakota & Queen Kelsey Crowned

Basketball Homecoming Week at Galena High School was January 7-11, 2008. Students were given the opportunity throughout the week to show their school spirit by participating in several dress up activities: pajama day, twin day, super hero day, mismatch day, and blue & white day. They also showed their spirit by participating in Friday's Pep Assembly.
The 2007 Basketball Homecoming King Chase Keyser and Queen
Christine Clarkson crowned the new King and Queen at halftime of
the boys game. Dakota Walker and Kelsey New became the
reigning 2008 Basketball Royalty.
2008 Basketball Homecoming Candidates
Following the boy's exciting win over the Southeast Lancers,
students attended the Homecoming Dance - A Black Tie Affair - in
