Galena High School students took time out of their busy weekends to help at the latest work day at Schermerhorn Park and the Southeast Kansas Nature Center on Saturday, May 10th. Thirty-six student volunteers worked on trails
and flower beds, raked, picked up litter, moved rocks, and cleared fallen limbs. Many high school teachers offered their students bonus incentives for participating in this community service activity.A big thank you goes out to those students who participated!!!!
