Galena High School KU Honor Scholars Named

Five Galena High School students were recently named Kansas Honor Scholars by the University of Kansas for their academic achievements. These students rank in the top 10 percent of their senior class and were selected regardless of their occupational plans or their higher education goals. The students were guests of the KU Alumni Association and KU Endowment at a banquet held in Parsons. They each received an American Heritage Dictionary in hardback and electronic versions. Those students being honored were: Ty Albright, Tyler Bradshaw, Kebra Griffith, Martyn Soriano, and Tina Woods.
