Spring Panorama Surveys
Galena USD 499 seeks to meet the evolving needs of our students and to support every student to succeed in school and in life. As part of our educational approach and dedication to our students, and in alignment with the Kansas Social, Emotional, and Character Development (SECD) Standards, our district uses student surveys to better support and serve our students. We believe student voice is essential to develop the learning environments that support every student in our community.
Our district works in partnership with Panorama Education to run our student survey. Our district uses a subset of questions from the Panorama Student Survey and the Panorama Social-Emotional Learning Survey that are most important to our school context and community.
Our district has chosen to utilize the following topics with our students:
- Emotion Regulation
- Grit
- Supportive Relationships
- School Climate
Our district will be administering the Panorama Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Survey on October 20 through November 3, and January 30 through February 10. Panorama is taken by students in grades 3-12 and takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Other Important Items:
1. Participation is voluntary and your child may decline to participate.
