Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe State of Kansas will NOT be offering free meals for students for the 2023-2024 school year. The Home Economic Survey (HES) will be used to determine the amount of additional State and Federal funding for our local educational programs based on the number of children in your home and your annual income. It is our hope that you will complete the HES form.
If you would like to apply for free or reduced meals for your student, please fill out and return the HES form to the Board Office before your student starts school. If you have questions or concerns, please call Allison Henderson at 620-783-4499 ext 1100 or email at allison.henderson@galena499.org. If this form is not turned in, you will be charged for meals until an application is received and processed. You are responsible for all fees accumulated after the start of school and before the form is turned in.
